- Attempt direct entry admission for Nursing using either Cambridge or JUPEB exams. Many federal and state universities offer direct entry admission using either of these certifications.
- Explore foreign universities. One good country with affordable foreign universities where you can study Nursing is the Philippines.

Well, it depends on how low the mark is. If it is too low, consider applying to a Nursing school where you don’t need UTME. If you already have a HND or previous degree related to science or nursing then consider UTME to DE conversion to give yourself a better chance. Good luck

How do I apply to study abroad
It depends on the country. But you should have good O’level results. You may need to take IELTS. Let me know the country or university you have in mind.
Canada
To study nursing in Canada what you need is your credit level passes in Maths, English, Chemistry and Biology. Physics is important but is not compulsory for some universities. You also need to pass an english proficiency test. The common one is IELTS. You can also take TOEFL, etc. but some schools may not require this. It all depends on the University. If you have these, just select a university and pay the application fee. Follow the process, if you are admitted you would get a student Visa. I must say that studying in Canada can be expensive (Average of 30,000 CAD per year) so you have to pick affordable schools. Check out University of New Brunswick, University of Prince Edward Island, university of Manitoba etc. Goodluck.

How do I apply to study abroad
It depends on the country. For most countries you would need credit level passes in Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. You would have to choose the University you want and complete an application on their admission portal. You would have to pay a non-refundable application fee that cost between $50 – $100. Most universities might require english proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL etc) if they are an English speaking country. Get those tests. If you are given admission after the whole admission process, you would be given student Visa and that is all you need. The next thing is to start paying your fees but there are student loans for international students abroad. It depends on the country. Goodluck.

Most universities would not accept a WAEC result older than 10 years in Nigeria. If your WAEC is older than 10 years, Consider taking WAEC GCE for private candidates. If you get your credit in Mathematics, English, Physics, Biology and chemistry, you would have met the O’level requirements. Good luck

There are other good schools like Uniben, Eleyele, ECWA etc. Please choose any of them. It also now depends on other factors like your O’Levels. If you still don’t meet the cut off mark, you can consider Nursing school or studying abroad if you can afford it . No need to feel too bad.

Yes, there is some truth. Ambrose Ali has provisional accreditation but it is not cleared to admit students for now. So only current students are covered for now.
